Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination. They should have been born on or after October 1, 1999.There is a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST and PWD categories (i.e candidates born on or after October 1 1994 are eligible). It is also important to know that students have not taken prior admission to an IIT.
