  4. English: The syllabus covers various texts which will enable students to read and write fluent English. They need to improve reading comprehension and analytical skills so as to answer questions from unseen passages. They have to write descriptive essays and curate short stories from given set of cues or re-arrange sentences. The syllabus covers grammatical aspects like, tenses, subject-verb agreement, modals, determiners, commands and requests, reported speech, statements and questions.
  5. Hindi/Sanskrit: The syllabus covers various texts which will enable students to read and write fluent English. They need to improve reading comprehension and analytical skills so as to answer questions from unseen passages. Students have to answer the question or interpret the poems and lines of passages in their own language while writing descriptive answers. Even in Hindi, the focus is on grammar like use of figures of speech, use of idioms and proverbs in sentences, etc.
