CBSE Class 6 is a significant stage of a student’s life as he/she makes a transition to middle school. CBSE Class 6 syllabus has been hence developed to help students relate every subject to real life.

Hindi: The CBSE Class 6th Hindi syllabus covers different types ofpoetry, short stories, idioms, phrases, types of nouns, pronouns, adjectives,adverbs, etc.
Sciences: CBSE Class 6th Science syllabus covers topics like,sources of food, components of food, states of matter, structure and functions ofplants, structure of animals and functions, electric current and circuits, conceptof magnets, natural resources, understanding natural phenomena, etc.
Social Sciences: CBSE Class 6th Social Science syllabus focus onvarious themes like, introduction to history, brief about earlier societies, briefabout cities, etc. In Geography, topics like, latitudes and longitudes, four realmsof Earth, directions and symbols used in maps, major features of Earth are covered.In Social and Political life, concepts like, diversity, government, localgovernment, rural administration and livelihoods are covered.
